Sean Senthuran is the founder and CEO of ATS Accounting & Tax Edmonton. His team provides tax preparation, bookkeeping, QuickBooks consulting, and business startup services to individuals and small businesses in Edmonton and other cities in Alberta that aren’t ready to put a full-time accountant on their payroll.
Sean enjoys working with small businesses to help them improve their profitability. His service orientation complements his team’s detail orientation. ATS works with numerous businesses in the services sector, including IT consultants, professional services firms, health care professionals, restaurants, contractors, personal service businesses, and startups, to name a few.
Recent projects include helping a company negotiate and settle a payroll debt with the CRA, increasing profits for a landscaper through job costing, and improving a monthly reporting system for a coaching company. Prior to starting ATS Accounting Inc. in 2009, Sean worked for nine years in public accounting firms, including positions with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, one of the top four accounting firms in the world. He earned a BBA degree in Accounting from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. After work, you might find him relaxing with his family, practicing martial arts moves in a TaeKwonDo class, or he is volunteering as a coach for a local soccer team. He also enjoys being a blood donor.
